"Newlands Stone and building completed works at 4 Macquare Farm Close during the 20th February to 10th March 2023
When we were in the process of purchasing the property, we were aware work would need to be completed soon after completion that the previous owner had not had opportunity to do. To inform us of additional costs of the purchase Wayne visited the property and provided a quote to have the work completed before we owned the property, with no guarantee of the job he spent a lot of time with us talking through what you need to know when buying a stone-built building. He was incredibly generous with his time, and we instantly liked him and hoped to work with him in the future.
Wayne repointed 2 sides of the property, removing the old and replacing with good. Whilst working around the front of the house Wayne noticed a hole around the waste, at no additional cost, he filled this gap to ensure we did not have any future problems with water leaking into the property.
On a personal level Wayne was professional, kind, helpful and kept us well informed throughout the process. We are so impressed with the work that he did for us that we are hopeful he will return to help us with another project. We have had many compliments on the work Wayne completed for us and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a specialist in this field."

"Newlands Stone and Build completed two projects at our home.
The first project was completed in March 2021. The front entrance of our driveway needed widening. This involved the Bradstone wall and gatepost being removed on RHS and the gatepost rebuilt. Pavers were laid and the wooded retaining edge of the flowerbed reformed on a curve.
The second project was in February 2022 was in the back garden and involved hard landscaping and creating a seating area. The work involved removing and replacing the paving on walkway, creating a seating area, building a small retaining wall and creating steps to get up onto lawned area.
We are very pleased with the work carried out. Wayne was friendly, professional and hard working. He is a very knowledgeable stone mason and a family man. Wayne had a can-do attitude and several people looked at the first project and said it could not be done. Having had first-hand experience of his work we did not hesitate to ask Wayne to quote for the second project."

These works involved replacing the entire two-storey bay window in our Edwardian family home. "My rear retaining wall was about to collapse into a poorly maintained garage on the other side and take my patio with it. I contacted Wayne, who diagnosed the main issues were a poorly built wall ln the other side and the collapse of the garage Wall. He built a new substantial wall on the other side, repointed the wall and topped with coping stones. A first-rate job with a minimum impact on us, quietly and efficiently got on with the job and clearing up afterwards, all done at a reasonable price. Cannot recommend Wayne any higher, Excellent Work"
